I could offer a series of dandy excuses for not writing for the last…..few months. But I won’t. XD I’ll just say school is first, work and TV and Computer second, and everything third. Simple categorizing of my everyday life. XD Thus, I will try and update on Fridays, my now self-prescribe No-homework-or-chores Day. Maybe update on Sundays, we shall see. >.> Overall, work is dismal withpay cut coming this coming Friday. I have been playing Pokemon Diamond, which is fun, anyone who wants to fight just ring.
XD
Hmmm, the economy is dead. >.> Will be dead. <.< Until 2011. Then painfully slow growth. But unemployment/misery/media likes to act like the world is ending won’t be at the 5% level until after 2013. But then again, it is wayyyy toooo early to even tell. XD Gas will peak at $2.37 in my town is my bet, maybe nationwide average as high as $2.75 for the summer. Before coming back down. I would like to get a chart up, for I *think* was close to my predictions last year. XD Except for that last spike, hurricanes ruin everything.
Oh, and I have to get used to this new layout. Quite different. <.<
Feeling Lost?

Everyone has had a bad day and can’t remember where their keys are at or something similar. Though, it has been shown recently that there is a woman who lacks the typical naviagation skills that most people learn. The “mental map” of her surroundings is not there and she can’t find her way around that easily if at all. What makes this case interesting is that other than this disability, she’s perfectly fine. There’s no apparent brain damage.
I’m poor at directions but, I was grateful that I am able to find my way after reading this. I do have my coping strategy when I am in an unfamiliar environment, and it is don’t get lost and stay on the same road.

I enjoy puzzles, probably way too much. XD Among the many things I missed doing while away for two weeks (Talking with friends, sleeping, writing junk posts, and eating) I missed doing my daily (?) puzzle. XD
Not quite 100+, but it this was a 91 piece-puzzle from MSNBC:
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/20044245?cat=uj&d=080909
Quote: The bark of the birth tree is practically imperishable, due to the resinous oil which it contains.
Time: 9 min. 26 sec. (I know, I was super slow. Don’t make fun of me. XD)
Then a 154 piece puzzle from Jigzone.com:

Tis a Toucan XD
Time: 17 min. 14 sec. I’m very slow. >_<
Puzzles are fun XD
SPIDER!!!!

Liverpool, England is hosting the European Capital of Culture event this year. It’s a festive kind of thing, a city is chosen for one year to show it’s cultural life and such.

Of course, this post is about a spider. A giant spider is roaming the streets of Liverpool. O.o

La Princesse, a giant spider that’s made out of wood and steel. It’s huge! The spider “woke” up today, in the rain, and it’s said to be going around town and showing up at landmarks…….Watch out! XD

City planning, in the Jungle
August 29, 2008 at 7:04 am | In Roba Casuale | 1 CommentTags: Amazon, City planning
Down there in the Amazon, an expedition has found evidence of an Urban culture from about 1,500 years ago. They consisted of a village centered on a plaza, with satellite villages surrounded the main village. The level of sophistication isn’t as advanced as the Maya for example. The towns may have disappeared gradually as the Europeans came through.
Quite interesting, I wonder if it can be utilized as for heavy city planning in the Amazon?
Flag Ban?

Schools generally have a limit to what is allowed to be worn. There are obvious reasons for this as well; such as “revealing” outfits, showing up in your pajamas, and baggy pants. Wearing the Confederate flag is off limits in places as well. And the student is going to court after getting suspended. Never mind the fact the student has said to have been suspended 40x.
Why is this going to court? Can’t it be settled without wasting taxpayer money? And who cares?! It’s just a flag, if you’re offended well live with it! The world isn’t going to bend over backwards for you.
Russia vs. Georgia

The country of Georgia has it tough. It may have a coastline on the Black Sea, but it’s still landlocked from the open waters of the Mediterraneanor any ocean. It also has Russia for a neighbor. :/ Not to mention two major separatist movements that constitute a large bulk of the country. Abkhazia and South Ossetia.

Recently news has been hitting the headlines detailing the recent fighting (and possible war) in South Ossetia. With Russia getting involved for some “mysterious” reasons, it’ll be interesting how the international community at large will react. I personally got a feeling that it won’t for the most part.
Is it me, or do I find Russian “peacekeepers” in Abkhazia odd? Seeing how Sochi will host the Winter Olympics in 2014 and all. :/

Weekend report!

It’s Friday as far as I know. I could be wrong though! =P
And so ends another week of up and downs. Major ones include Dow’s drama of -200+ this week. Such a crybaby! =(
Apparently more and more people think oil is going to fall a lot. Copycats! I called it 2nd! (I’m sure there was at least one other person who came up with the same idea as me, maybe a hundred, but I don’t know!)
And now for some bad news. As this is the hardest stage, it’s hard to predict where it’s all going (Hopefully down.) I expect it to rise and maybe close next Friday somewhere between $120-$135. It’s a huge gap, but I can’t close it anymore! >_< It sucks! There’s a chance (65%) of a small spike next week. So get gas this weekend. It’s still hovering around $4/gallon for the nation. (It fell here to $3.699, $3.149)
By the end of Aug. it’s hovering around $3.50-$3.75/gallon ($3., nationwide is what I’m predicting. Only if all goes well, people don’t drive up demand suddenly, and it could get lower. I just found out China’s been hoarding gas and diesel, which it pushing the price. As it get’s closer, I’m going to try and get it with 5cents of what it ends at.
And something that didn’t get enough attention!!!!

Oil price manipulation!! Ah~!~! Real Live Conspiracy!

And what do I base this on? Beats me……I don’t know sometimes. I really don’t.
