My music professor talked about this piece in class. He even gave a little performance. XD It’s silent in the sense that no man-made instrument is being played in this piece. The audience, and everything in ear-shot is what “composes” the piece in essence.

I finally got around to listening to this old French folk song, but not all of it. XD
It’s considered to be the first recorded human voice in history. It was recorded over 140 years ago in 1860.
Listening it can raise chills up your spine, but it’s audible of what’s spoken:
