A murder in the bathroom of a resturant, footprints lead/leave the scene.  The bathroom is locked from the outside.  Who did it?

Neuro decides to solve the puzzle to stave off his hunger; but his goal for now is to obtain a reservoir of magic so he has the power to fight off Sicks.

A major subplot for these chapters invovles Ishigaki, Sasazuka’s imcompitent partner.  A new person has joined Sasazuka’s team, which leads to poor Ishigaki fearing that he may lose his job to the brilliant new-comer.  But he doesn’t help any, one of the things he does is asking Sasazuka if he can keep a rare trading card he found in someone’s bag.  But he helps a bit; he put together a sole of a shoe to help match the footprint.

Poor Ishigaki has a rival! XD

And Neuro is preparing for Sicks!
