My current filler manga while I wait for Neuro/Gokusen/Wallflower/Alive/Chocolat. Basically it’s come down to: right now I’m just filling in time until I can watch Ghost in the Shell on Scifi this coming Monday.
I expected this to be some ditsy shoujo manga, full of the usual dramatics and wails of romance………so many are like that these days. But I’ve so far prove myself wrong. It’s quite a decent piece of work. I’m half-way through so no major spoilers from me! ^^
Also called Land of the Blindfolded, it follows the relationships between Kanade and two males- Arou and Namiki. Kanade can sometimes see the future when she touches someone. She compares this by saying, if everyone was blindfolded, her’s sometimes slips, letting her “see” more. Arou can see the past every time he touches something, while Namiki sees the future on occasion.
Arou and Kanade become a couple early on, and the plot mainly revolves on how each character develops as a person relating to their surroundings while having this gift.

Yay! Another set of Q’s just in time for the 4th?
1. Why do scrambled eggs still make me sick to the stomach? I mean come on! I haven’t been allergic to eggs since I was 4ish!
2. Why do some people continue to assume I’m a Democrat? I don’t bring it up at work, but some customers ask: “Why you voting for Obama?” Who said I was? Just because I’m half black doesn’t mean a thing!
3. Why don’t people think I’m 17 or at least 15 in terms of looks?
4. If the weather man can’t predict the weather right 70% of the time, why does he still have a job???
5. Why do people tell me “I can’t live without my cell phone.” ? I have for 4 weeks now! It’s dead…..
6. What ever happened to discipline your kid if they act up in a store?
7. On the same note, what ever happened to basic morals?
8. How in the world do you kill an inanimate object that’s also a puncuation mark? (Semicolon recently murdered!)
9. Why don’t people realize that Democrats are (more historically) war-mongers? (WW1&2 and Korea)
