Learning is so much Fun, it gives one a massive headache for 2 days.  But onto much more important things!  *Need…..Aspirin……*

Anyways, I was at Hastings {again} and went to go look at the languages section (Which is next to the science, nature, and political sections)  and I saw it!  The Politically Incorrect Guide to Global Warming!  Right next to The Complete Idiots Guide to Global Warming.  Irony?  Well, then it came to me that I didn’t have anything to read at work.  Which is a must or I go insane.  So I bought it.  It was my 3rd purchase in that store.  I think the staff was surprised.

Before that I had been looking up Warming and all the hysteria around it (I already came to the conclusion that we must stop breathing to save the planet) to help sort it all out, mainly out of boredom.

So I got a set of conclusions of sorts:

1. Global Warming won’t kill us all.  It’s been a lot warmer during the Medieval Warming Period{800-1300AD}  (Right before the Little Ice Age) so something other than CO2 caused it.  Hint: The ball of fire.

2. Who in the world listens to the UN?  They can’t do most things right (WHO is a exception), so why listen?

3. Greenland had agriculture on it at one point.  I’d like to see that again.

4. I came across this: {From the book} During the collapse of the USSR, a lot of weather stations closed for many reasons, dropping from about 12,000 to a bit under 6,000 from 1990ish-2000.

5. Even though it’s now known to be Bush’s and America’s fault for global warming.  Just maybe, our CO2 emissions are reaching the Sun and heating it up.  We all know what that means:  It’s time to blow up the Sun.  I know the graph is hard to read, but I couldn’t find a better one!  Sorry! >_<

Left side says:  Total Solar Irridance (W/m2), the bottom is Atomspheric CO2 Concentration (ppm).  The right both say Yearly Artic-wide Surface Temperature Anomalies (Degree C)

I’m not a scientist, but if my opinion matters any, the sun matches with the temperatures a lot more.  While the CO2 well doesn’t……..

6. Lastly- The media likes to flip-flop a lot.  Global cooling!  in the 70s, now G. Warming.  Soon it will be back to Cooling.  Lesson is to never trust the media.
