Someone been visiting.  52 views, makes a sad record! XD

Anyways it’s a Good day.  First it’s Monday.  Second, gas fell at 3 stations to $3.699, which is a record.  3rd, the record is it’s distance from the national average of $4.109, the largest it’s been all year!  Now the question is WHY?

And lastly:  Double-dose of Neuro and Gokusen!

That’s the title to an article on the MSN website:

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/25311529/&GT1=43001

I’m SO glad they’re upbeat.  So I’ll tackle the 1st paragraph.

“Midwestern levee’s are bursting.”- Blame Congress for not giving the Army Corp the money to fix it.

“Polar bears are adrift.”- If you mean floating, then okay.  Those things can kill you easily.  And there’s plenty of ice.

“Gas prices are skyrocketing.”-Maybe they have on a monthly/yearly basis, but right now, it’s stabilizing.

“Air fares, college tuition, and health care border on unaffordable.”- Haven’t been on a plane for 4 years, my tuition will be about $7,000 for 2 semesters, and there are Health Savings Accounts (Which are tax-free, high-deductible, health insurance plans for individuals/families under 65; Thank you George Bush.)

“Wars without end rage in Iraq, Afganistan, and against terrorism.”- Well these terrorists do want us dead, so I say kill them before they kill us.

Another paragraph:

“It hardly matters to those in the path. Just ask the people of New Orleans who survived Hurricane Katrina. They are living in a city where, 1,000 days after the storm, entire neighborhoods remain abandoned, a national embarrassment that evokes disbelief from visitors.”

Well, I don’t think the government will force people to move back.  And maybe it’s a wake-up call, that kind of says: Don’t build cities below sea-level, and not expect rare powerful Hurricanes to come through.

Yeah I could go on and on, but really:  If this is the worst, then we should have all died during the Great Depression.  Nature does what it wants, it’s only magnified by the media with headlines: “Wildfires rage in CA” or “5 (emphasis on 5) home destroyed by fire.”  Well you knew the risk of living there and there are tips for living there; like cleaning out brush, trimming dead branches…….

It was on yesterday on the channel OVATN, along with Spirited Away, so I watched it again.  Just one of those movies that I enjoy viewing over and over!

Three homeless people (normally described as a drunk, a runaway girl, and an okama) find an abandoned baby in trash.  Set during Christmas Night in Tokyo, the three set out to find it’s parents and return the child.  Along the way clues help the trio find the parents.  What I enjoyed most was the way each character was protrayed, each had a secret or lie that was discovered throughout the film, even the baby’s parents.
