Overall it’s been a boring week. Well the near stagnation of the S&P on Tuesday (?) was something to behold! up ONLY 0.11. Wow. Awesome. Oil pulled a similar move a couple of years ago. I think it was a $1 difference per barrel between the two dates……

Quite an interesting topic! The idea is basically farming in skyscrapers! Benefits are extremly large: Year-round production, almost no crops failures (Even though it’s in a sealed environment, it can still be infested if safety is lax), waste can be recycled, less oil use (it’s expected to be powered by wind/solar), and more!
Estimates say about 10,000-50,000 people can be feed with one block-sized skyscraper (Many stories high). Which can be extremly helpful in high-density areas (Japan, India, Bangledesh, city-states, etc.) But it’s sure to cost a pretty penny.
Run-off, a serious polluter of water, would be controlled and reused back into the building. Oil/gasoline use would be reduced greatly in surrounding areas; tractors and such. And it helps lower food costs to those in the city! So it’s Green and in the long-term, cheaper! Yeah, everyone wins!
