My puppy isn’t here,

She had black feet and a black tail,

We were together all the time.

My puppy isn’t here,

She had black ears and a black back,

Even though we were always together.

My tears have dried,

and I’m living on day by day,

but hurry, come back.

Even in rain and wind,

I’ll walk you everyday.
