I’m not an avid fan of this series, but I do enjoy it. Watched a couple episodes here and there and what not!
Basically it’s about the Freeman family: Huey, Riley, and Robert (Grandad) and their lives in suburbia as a well-to-do black family. Of course there’s bits of funny as the show pokes at racism, political correctness, and sterotypes.
But the question here today is it’s place in the Anime world. While the creator (Aaron McGruder) has said Anime (Bebop, FLCL and Champloo are what I caught.) helped inspired:

Get a Job You Lazy……..

Okay lazy people! Time to get a job! I Really Don’t want to hear “But there aren’t any jobs” or “The only jobs there are is those that pay like $6.60/hour!”
Well…..Oh well. Tough. Something IS better than nothing, especially if you have bills to pay. So anything will do. For those who won’t do certain jobs because it’s “degrading”: Suck it up. Now. Being a Janitor, Maid, Factory Worker, etc….isn’t bad. It pays money doesn’t it? So what’s the problem? I was a janitor for the bank and libraries, and a bar. (I cleaned 2 banks and 8 libraries some weekends. And it was alright. Tough yeah, but I did it.)
Plenty of jobs there. Also here’s a nice table of where there’s lots of unemployed people:

Finally saw the new episode of Code Monkeys today, funny as always! I won’t give away the details but:
Todd’s got a new game called Cock Goblin. Sad I know. But he, of course, thinks it’s the best game idea known. Meanwhile the company is trying to get insured so they send a person to do psychological evaluations on everyone. The poor soul…….
